A medical diagnosis alone does not provide enough information to plan good dental care for children with disabilities. In a new thesis from The School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University, Johanna Norderyd investigates the importance of biopsychosocial perspectives for the oral health and dental care of children.

IADH-congres 2016 in Chicago – well done!

Mun-H-Center was presented at 23:e iADH-Congress in Chicago. Logoped Åsa Mogren paticipated with presentation at the seminar “Orofacial function and oral health”.
There were participants from all the Nordic countries but Finland. Theme of the Congres was ‘Refraiming Special Care’. Both Norway and Sweden did also presentations and posters.

NFH-Conference 2017 on Iceland (Open for registration)
Next years 23rd conference of the Nordic Association for Disability and Oral Health (NFH) is held in conjunction with the 5th Nordic Conference on Children with Feeding Disorders in Reykjavík 17th–18th of August in 2017. We are all looking foreward to a exciting arrangement and cooperation with new collegues.
