Organization

NFH-Norden was founded in 9/2-1974 at the Childrens Hospital in Vangede, Denmark. Prelude and process to the formation of the NFH-Association had happened through years before between several dentists from hospital-institutions in both Sweden and Denmark – and was also provided by the general economic growth and regulatory improvements for the weakest in society in these years.

The statutes of the NFH-Association were adopted at the first Generel Meeting in Vangede and were revised many times since then. The last revision of the statutes was in Island 2017 and is available in Danish: http://nfh-danmark.dk/om-nfh/vedtaegter/ and in Swedish: http://nfh-danmark.dk/om-nfh/vedtaegter/

The statutes require that each Nordic Country must have a section of the NFH-Association and that the NFH-Association consists of members and members of Honour and all persons who have interest for oral health can be included in the Association.
